How/Where can I get the Be A Boss® App?

You can download the Be A Boss® App in the Apple Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android.

How much does the Be A Boss® App cost to use?

The app is 100% free to download, install, and use to your heart's content. Creating both Caller and Provider accounts is also free! You only pay for the services you want!

All paid  services through the app costs exactly the same price, $1 per minutes with a 5 minute minimum. After looking at our comparison analysis, you'll see that 99% of the time our services are a total steal compared to what you’d typically pay.

Once your request has been accepted, you’ll be able to instant message and/or video chat through the Be A Boss® app using our Patent Pending Connect  page. It’s up to you if you want to give a Provider your direct contact information.

Do I have to create an account?

You do not need to create an account. You can log in through your preferred social media account, but your access to certain options and features in the app will be limited. We like to know a little about our Callers and Providers to help connect them more effectively. We also care a lot about user security. In order to use all of the features of the app, or to send and receive payments through the app you will need to create an account. When you do, make sure your first and last name  match the name on your credit card or bank account.

I have signed up and used the Be A Boss® App, but I've decided it's just not for me, how do I delete my account?

You can delete the application from your mobile device the way you normally would. In order to fully remove your account send an email to: removeme@beabossnow.com and we’ll deactivate your account in our system. Please note, it can take up to 45 days to complete this process. We hope that you'll come back the next time you get the itch to Be A Boss®!

 

Caller FAQ'S

How long will I have to wait for services? 

Well, you’re the Boss, so that’s completely up to you. You want it now? Ask for it now. Would tomorrow be better? That’s fine too. Granted, the app is still new and catching on, not all services will be populated with ample Providers instantly. Please be patient, because that’s going to change very soon – our goal is to provide you with 24/7 access to the services you need. If a service request isn’t accepted within 60 seconds, you will have the option to continue waiting/searching or trying again later.

Will my credit card information be secure?
Be A Boss® takes personal information and credit card data security very seriously. For that reason, we use Braintree to securely handle credit card information. Braintree is a Validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider. Learn more about Braintree security practices.

I don't see any pricing, how do I know how much each service costs?

All other services through the app costs exactly the same price, $1 per minutes with a 5 minute minimum. After looking at our comparison analysis, you'll see that 99% of the time our services are a total steal compared to what you’d typically pay. 

The only exception to this are Executive Communities. These are communities within the app that do not use the app to calculate charges. If you are a member of an Executive Community then those charges are decided and agreed upon between the members of that community.

Once my service request is accepted, how do I communicate with the Provider?

Once your request has been accepted, you’ll be able to instant message and/or video chat through the Be A Boss® app using our Patent Pending Request page. It’s up to you if you want to give a Provider your direct contact information.

What happens if my service request is accepted, but I change my mind?

Yeah, that happens. It’s no big deal. Using the Be A Boss® Request page you have the ability to cancel within 5 minutes of your request time without a fee. If you cancel after that five minutes (but before services have begun), you will be charged a $5 fee. No hard feelings, we just don't want to waste any of our Providers time.

What if I'm unsatisfied with the services I received?

There are no refunds through the app. In the ideal world, all transactions would happen without a hitch. But, until we live in an ideal world, we understand that occasional disputes are going to arise. In the event that a transaction dispute cannot be worked out between the Caller and the Provider, please contact Be A Boss® and we will do our best to ensure your dispute is resolved quickly, fairly and amicably.

How can I pay for services?

You’ll need a bank debit card or a major credit card, (sorry, no Apple Pay, Venmo, or PayPal at this time). In addition your first and last name must match both your Be A Boss® account and the account you’re using for payments. For services where tipping is customary, you are free to tip with cash. All other transactions must be processed through the Be A Boss® app.

What if I think a service should take less time than advertised? (ex: it shouldn't take two hours to install a ceiling fan, should it?)

As Bosses, Callers and Providers are free to work out an agreed upon fee for the services if both parties are willing to do so. All the Provider needs to do is tap the “Services Complete” button at your agreed upon point.

 

Provider FAQ'S

Am I an employee of Be A Boss®? Will I receive a W2 or 1099?

You are not an employee of Be A Boss® and because as a Boss you run your own business, you will receive a 1099 per IRS guidelines.

How much money can I really make on this App?

All services through the app cost exactly the same price, $1 per minute…with a 5 minute minimum (30 seconds or less rounds down to the last minute…31 seconds or more rounds up). So after Be A Boss® fees, Providers are projected to make $40/hr. Where tipping is customary, Callers will be able to tip through the app, or in cash. Either way, tips are not subject to Be A Boss® fees – those are yours to keep. How often you log in as a Provider and make yourself available for hire is completely up to you… and so is your money-making potential.

If you choose to join an Executive Community within the app, prices will be decided and agreed upon between the members of that community. Being part of an Executive Community gives you the opportunity to make more for your services than the standard $1/minute.

What if I haven't had a single call in a week or two?

That is possible. Especially while the Be A Boss® app is still new. But be patient because that will change very soon. Remember, it’s up to you when you’re logged in. If business is slow, Be A Boss® is a perfect way to supplement your down time and make new contacts and clients. Once the app catches on in your community, don’t be surprised if Be A Boss® becomes a primary source of income. It’s totally up to you.

How do I get paid?

Direct deposit. We’ll send your money directly to your bank account within 3-7 business days (our goal is within 72 hours). No waiting on checks that can get lost in the mail, running to the bank, or transferring from a PayPal account. Just a straight shot from our bank to yours. Please note, the first and last name on your bank account must match the first and last name on your Be A Boss® account.

What if a Caller cancels before I get there?

That may happen occasionally. We give callers five minutes to cancel without a penalty. If they cancel after that five minutes, but before services have begun, there’s a $5 fee. If they cancel mid-service you will always get paid for your time (remember, there is a 30 minute minimum).

What if a Caller is unhappy with my services and wants a refund?

There are no refunds through the app. In the ideal world, all transactions would happen without a hitch. But, until we live in an ideal world, we understand that occasional disputes are going to arise. In the event that a transaction dispute cannot be worked out between the Caller and the Provider, please contact Be A Boss® and we will do our best to ensure your dispute is resolved quickly, fairly and amicably.

What will competition be like between other Providers?

That varies from service to service, so it’s hard to say. But like any other business, word of mouth travels fast. Plus, Be A Boss® allows Callers to leave reviews about your services. Deliver top notch services and don’t be afraid to ask your Callers to leave you a positive review.

Do I need to create an account to get paid?

Yes. We greatly value the security of both our users, so in order to make or received payments, you must have an account in good standing and the first and last name on your Be A Boss® account must match the name on your bank account or credit card. At the end of the day creating an account is easy, and it'll allow you to get pay and get paid quickly, conveniently, and securely!
